We often see jewelry displayed on windows, in glass boxes or adorned by models or celebrities in magazines. This time, I wanted to portray the model as a sculpture.
I imagined a live model with the upper part of her body inside the jewelry display box or column, where everything is two-dimensional, but the only thing that is alive and popping out is the bling on her skin. To achieve this, I built a life-size column that resembles jewelry displays, spotlights on the model, and very neat styling that focuses mainly on shapes. I added the geometric shapes as a play on proportions, and decided to create a mood and color for each. I wanted her to look flawless, almost-lifeless and yet larger than life.
