While this fact could be true, the photo is obviously edited. Let's just say human skin will... bloat when submerged too long in water. Clearly this is not layers of ice but layers in Photoshop. Still creepy looking, though. And obviously if the location has never been documented there wouldn't be people and sleds for scale. Maybe a frozen banana.
