What started as a pure curiosity soon became a passion. As a small kid, I hated travelling. About 3 years ago I started experimenting with the old compact camera we had at home. A lot of things and names like aperture, shutter speed etc. were unknown for me, so I spent some time searching on the internet.
Then, I got my first camera, Nikon d3300 and kit lens. I started producing my first images. As the time went by I started to travel further away from my home, and it became the important part of the shooting.
I started astrophotography before daytime photography, so it makes a big part of my portfolio. In my images I am trying to make something different instead of capturing famous places, I like to find my own. I am still finding my style, and constantly learning new things, but I thought I should try to show you my recent work.
Photos were made during our family trips with a little help of my dad who sometimes takes me nearer to the place where I want to get and they are also from a few photo trips with my friends and without. I love early waking up and hiking, normally it takes me 1-3 or more hours to get to the place. But the feeling of lying in the snow, on the top of the mountain, with a panoramic view around me in the absolute silence is just incredible and it's the reason why to continue.

I am living in Prague, main city of the Czech Republic, so clear skies like this were always my dream. There is already no place where to go in my country if you want to see milkyway like this.

Oliver, I not only 'think' this, but also 'know' it. You have discovered, early on, a talent within which you excel. And its not something that most of us realize before we reach adulthood. I too love photography. I don't have many chances yet to go on big adventures to capture works of art, since I'm still in school, but I'm hoping that when I leave next year I can travel around my country Australia and possibly New Zealand (cause I got family there too), and take lots and lots of photos. I have been told that I take very creative photos, but unfortunately the only time I have currently to take photos is if we go hiking in a rain forest or up a mountain or something. Even then, we only do those every few months, and I can't take too long setting up my photos cause my little sister doesn't want to wait for me. I'm hoping one day I'll have opportunities to take photos as amazing as yours. You seem to be in the right place at the right time. I love your work, keep it up. Look to the stars, for not even they are your limit.

Oliver, I'm incredibly jealous. But only in a good way, I only wish you the best of luck on your endeavors. These are amazing shots and at a young age, you have great opportunities ahead. I'm only an amateur photographer and I only get to shoot in my limited free time. So I should expect a difference between my results and someone who can invest much more time, but I'm still jealous =p. I hope I can reach your level some day. Maybe one day I'll post my shots on BoredPanda. Keep taking pictures!

Actually, I dont have time too, I mostly shoot during the weekends, and even thats not the rule, because of learning to school. I am trying to capture as much as possible, for example during our trip to Alps I made 12 photos. It is really hard to find some time for this, I know what are you talking about. Sometimes I just wait for the season of less tests and get out to shoot, school or not, but that is an exception:D Thanks!
