One of my favorite movies growing up was Land Before Time. Now that I’m in my thirties I get to experience it with my sons…who are dinosaur addicts. My oldest asked if I could make Little Foot. Once I finished, the response was simply “cool…when are you going to finish the other ones?” At least my youngest giggles whenever he sees Ducky.

I 3D printed Spike and plan to eventually print the other characters.

Each of these characters were created in Zbrush, 3dsMax, and V-Ray and took approximately 24 hours to create. Adapting 2D cartoon characters to 3D isn’t a straightforward process, but it’s really fun.
