Many,many years ago in the Red Hook section of St Thomas V.I. while collecting the fiber from coconut palm trees to make Origami Pelican Mobiles, I saw more and more of what appeared to me to be Rats without ears, eyes and tails..But, right there, next to those rat bodies were the ears and the tails…All coming from the coconut tree.
And from that point on, all the rest was history…It started with me, making stiff rats and then eventually moved on to soft and cuddly rats and mice
