These Adorable Comics Show How Children See The World (50 Pics)
Interview With ArtistChildhood imagination is truly amazing. Most of us probably imagined grand adventures when we were little. Our bed becomes a pirate ship, our room—a kingdom, and our toys our best friends and adventure companions.
The artistic duo known as Stuffedthecomic on Instagram or just Stuffed create illustrations showing how a little girl and her stuffed toys go on grand trips to the Himalayas, build rocket ships, and protect their kingdom, all while being stuck at home.
One of the artists shared with Bored Panda: "In creating these comics, I was inspired by the world and the imagination of a little girl. I think childhood is the ultimate inspiration. Our goal is to spread joy and laughter around the world, so Bored Panda will be helping us achieve that."

We talked with the artist about what inspired them, how they got into art, and why they decided to create comics about childhood: "I was an avid comic strip reader as a child, and as an adult, I discovered that I had a passion for creating comic strips as well. I created Stuffed to spread joy and laughter, and reconnect readers with the wonder of childhood imagination. I loved the idea of exploring the expansive world of childhood imagination. You can go anywhere and do anything. There are literally no limits, and that type of freedom really appeals to me as a writer. I never imagined it would be read by over 300k people, but that gives me great satisfaction as an artist!"
Those are just misunderstood mythical creatures in jeed of a little hug
The artist said that their drawing style is very '70s, '80s and '90s, resembling the classics such as Peanuts, Bloom County, and Calvin and Hobbes. "Stuffed was inspired by the idea of a young child opening a present and then hugging the plush toy inside so hard that it couldn't breathe. The world and its characters all followed from that one moment."
The artist said that creating is their favorite part about art: "Creating characters, interactions, and moments. Also, bringing joy to readers through laughter and receiving feedback from them, learning about how Stuffed positively impacts their lives on a daily basis."
The artist preferred to stay anonymous, but they mentioned they love reading books and they are a huge fan of movies, especially classic films. "The most important thing to know about me as an artist is that my primary motivation is spreading positivity and joy to as many readers as possible. That is what drives me to be the best artist I can be."
"I hope Stuffed brightens your day! That is why it exists."

The monster is rolling his 3 eyes. I need a third eye to roll at some persons. Yes, Neslihan, I'm speaking with you. 🙄
Darwin Award: an award given to an individual as thanks for removing them from the gene pool. They typically died doing something stupid or did something stupid
Please tell me i'm not the only one who read that in David Attenboroughs voice?
He keeps using that word, I do not think it means what he thinks it means
calvin would probably just throw water balloons at her though
Load More Replies...You can read them in order on webtoons (comic is called "stuffed")... Bonus: You get to read nearly the entire comic strips existing of this comic - what's posted here is just a small selection.
Load More Replies...She should come out with the stuffed animals to buy in real life. I would definitely buy one!
This inspired me to play with my own stuffed animals, so I did a courtroom roleplay. My arctic fox, Glacier, was guilty of stabbing one of my pink dogs, Pink Woolly, and putting her in a coma. :>
THESE ARE GREAT. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE those crossovers with both Pixie and Brutus, and Strange Planet. I WILL BE READING MORE WHEN THEY ARE MADE.
This is the BEST! Presumably inspired by Calvin & Hobbes, but different enough to not be a rip-off. AMAZINGAMAZINGAMAZING
In comic 85, unicorn reminds me of Wanda and cosmo reminds me of dragon
BTW, Kamoho was the Hawaiian god of sharks and oceans. He had a shark head but a muscular body with tattoos
As a father of two now-adult daughters, these comics hit me in the heart...
That's really good and the drawings are awesome. But as many people noticed, some credits should really be given to Bill Watterson for the inspiration.
