What could be cuter than kids taking a sweet nap? But of course, children taking a nap with their doggies! And that's exactly what you're about to see in these cute photos of family pets sharing their zzz's with kids.
As long as it's supervised by adults, having a family dog around babies and toddlers can be good for the kids. For instance, a recent survey made in Finland and published in the Pediatrics journal discovered that babies with companion dogs are less likely to develop colds or ear infections as infants than the newborns with no canine companions. However, they need to be exposed to their animal friends from a very early age for this to happen.
The survey also showed that babies with adorable dogs that spend some time outside have a stronger immunity: "It might have something to do with dirt brought inside by the dogs, especially since the strongest protective effect was seen with children living in houses where dogs spent a lot of time outside," said Dr. Eija Bergroth, a pediatrician at Kuopio University Hospital in Finland.
However, do remember that this is only a single survey, and adult supervision and right judgement is needed to make the best decision whether having a dog around is good for your child. But for now, check these sweet babies and their cute dogs having a well-deserved shuteye together!

Wow...many nice shots. And without criticising, but those that do not have a "xyz photography" watermark and a staged appearance but are just coincidence shots by parents who happen to both have a dog and a small child are the loveliest!

Scrolling on to page two reveals even more nice shots...I like those the most where you can almost tell they have been playing with each other or doing whatever else but then either toddler or dog fell asleep and the other one seized the opportunity to cuddle and also fell asleep.
