These past couple of months, many Americans have not only been extremely excited to welcome their new president Joe Biden into the White House, but have also been pretty pumped to greet his two adorable German shepherd doggies named Champ and Major.

Knowing how people feel about his lovely pooches, on Christmas Eve, Biden went on Twitter to wish everyone Merry Christmas by sharing a little video starring his two fluffy friends.

“No matter how you’re celebrating this year, Champ and Major wish you a Merry Christmas,” Biden wrote in the description of his Twitter post. The 42-second video captures Biden’s doggies Major and Champ celebrating Christmas in their own unique ways.

At the same time, the energetic Major is captured relentlessly running around the house and playing with his toys. “No matter how you celebrate, Merry Christmas,” reads the message shown at the end of the video.

As we wrote in our article back in November, Joe Biden’s doggy Major is officially the first-ever shelter dog to live in the White House.

The German shepherd named Major became a part of the Biden family back in 2018 when they adopted him from the Delaware Humane Association. At first, the couple was only fostering him, but somewhere along the line, they fell madly in love with the little boy and decided to keep him.

“Today is Major’s lucky day! Not only did Major find his forever home, but he got adopted by Vice President Joe Biden & Dr. Jill Biden! Best of luck and thank you for being one of our Friends for life!” the Delaware Humane Association announced the news about the adoption on Facebook back in November 2018.

Their other doggy named Champ is also a German shepherd who’s been a part of the Biden family since 2008. Apparently, Champ was purchased from a high-volume commercial breeder, resulting in the Bidens receiving quite a bit of criticism for buying a dog when there are so many of them living in shelters.

Animals are intelligent, unlike Trump staffers and the ilk. I'll bet all the animals balked and bolted out the White House doors. Disagree all you want. I stand by my comment. That, and Trump never struck me as an animal lover.
