Balloon Art: This Artist Recreates Popular Characters In An Unusual Way (69 Pics)
Balloons have existed since prehistory. Of course, they looked and were made from different materials back then. The purpose of balloons has also changed. Before, people tried to fill various things with air as a sacrifice to the gods. Today, probably the first thought that comes to mind when imagining balloons is light floating objects for kids to enjoy.
Not only children love to play with balloons. These fun and colorful rubber sacks became a hobby for one Japanese artist named Ryo Kajiyama. He mastered the art of balloon twisting and now transforms popular cartoon and movie characters into inflatable sculptures! Who knows, maybe they're also a sacrifice for these pop culture icons.

Ryo started making balloon art in 2016 after seeing a street performance. He likes to surprise and entertain people. That's why he creates works that no one has ever seen, according to the artist.
He never has any plans on what to make next. The artist thinks of an idea while working on the balloons. In this way, he is not only surprising others but also himself.

Some fantastic creations from someone who clearly has talent and passion. In response to the below kill joy nah i'm good with having balloons for celebrations thanks, adds color and they're fun. Heres a couple of points for you 1. they are biodegradable ( not the quickest but will break down ) and sustainable due to latex being sourced from natural sources (The rubber tree) not only this but is a source of income for many people in southeast asia and south america 2. they only damage the environment when let go or disposed of irresponsibly, so really your point should be made to people who irresponsibly litter 3. I mean you wouldn't **** all over any other artists post so why choose to do it on this post simply because of your view on his medium
