I’ve Been Using Art To Cope With My Illnesses/Disabilities And Sharing It On My Instagram To Inspire Others
First of all, I want to say that I have Aspergers Syndrome; so, apologies, if my post seems a little strange in comparison to other posts (and this is my VERY 1st post, so please go easy on me). I cope with multiple illnesses & disabilities that make daily life a huge struggle (e.g: post-sepsis syndrome after traumatic bowel rupture in 2013, below-knee amputation after 10 years of CRPS, type 1 diabetic & PCOS/endometriosis, just to name a few); so I do what I can to keep my spirits up. One thing I rely on is my iPad, which I use daily, but I’ve also been using it to create my own art through the “YouDoodle” app & I will often share these pictures on my IG account, with the hopes of making someone’s day just a little bit better. I’m not saying I’m skilled with art, by any means. I merely enjoy creating the pictures & I share the ones I like. I swear, I don’t do it just to get likes/follows, either. I just thought I’d share here, too, with the hope that even one of my pics can inspire good feelings. Hopefully, I won’t have to endure anyone being mean about all this, though. Anyway, hope you like them (& if you DO want to see more like these; you can have a look at my IG account… but only if you want to, of course).

I loved your drawings, and they really brightened my day! I love funky colors. A lot of the characters you drew were very prevalent in my childhood, especially Winnie the Pooh and Carebears. I got more into Alice in wonderland as I got older. Thanks for sharing your wonderful works!
Aww, thank you so much! I’m so glad you got some positivity from the pictures I shared (& the more colours, the better)! I have to admit, the Cheshire Cat is definitely one of my favourite ones, too. “Alice In Wonderland” is an incredible story, without a doubt (& I do have a fondness for children’s books, probably mostly due to my Aspergers). I may be 34 years old, but I’ll always be young at heart. No harm indulging your inner child, though, right? Anyway, thanks for your kind words. So much appreciated! 😊🎨💖📚
Load More Replies...These were so cool! Even though its coloring in, it looks like they took alot of work… i like the chesire cat the best
Thank you. I’m so glad you liked it (& the Cheshire Cat is one of my favourite pics, too)! I do like to take my time with them, but mostly it’s because I get carpal/cubital tunnel syndrome, so I have to take a lot of breaks. The finished pic is always worth it, though. If you wanted to make pics like these yourself, the YouDoodle app is free to download & use, via App Store & it’s fairly simple to figure out. Even though you can use your finger to draw, I would recommend using an iPad pen or other brand of stylus (I use a “PONY Stylus”, which you can get tip refills for, is fairly cheap & works just as good as any Apple Pen). Anyway, thanks again! 😊💖🙋♀️
