When you find a fair world to live in, let the rest of us know where it is. Until then, you may want to start dealing with reality.

Fairness is an interesting concept. I think 'fairness' does not exist in nature. Nature is neither kind nor evil. It simply acts according to rules, and treat all with a equal hand. Some do better than others under this 'equal hand'.

what is unfair? some people are able to (or choose to) spend more on housing than others. there are expensive homes and cheaper homes to accommodate.

Life is unfair. It sucks, but there's not much anyone can do about it. Charity helps, but you cant fix people who are lazy or addicted to drugs/alcohol and unwilling to change.

If they quit making so many babies then they can have a better education and can live better.

You're right, but it's more extreme in developing countries. The US has extreme poverty and a huge population of homeless people (especially in California), but it's not nearly as extreme as countries like South Africa or Bangladesh.

Rhodes was an imperialist, businessman and politician who played a dominant role in southern Africa in the late 19th Century, driving the annexation of vast swathes of land. He founded the De Beers diamond firm which until recently controlled the global trade. Scholarships allowing overseas students to come to Oxford University still bear his name. Many institutions, including Cape Town University itself, benefited from his largesse. Both Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia) were named after him.
