I recently finished my master's degree in biotechnology at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, and throughout my studies, I have found it incredibly useful to illustrate my coursework in fun ways. It makes it so much easier to understand and remember!

Some of my drawings were printed as posters and hung on the walls of the master student study rooms at NMBU. Now I've also fulfilled the dream of sharing my drawings with a wider audience by launching my website and sharing the first twelve posts with you, pandas! I hope you enjoy them (and maybe learn something).

    Kiwi Evolution

    Kiwi Evolution

Evolution doesn’t always result in outcomes that are “fair” or optimal. Evolution doesn’t actually “care” to make any species the best that they can be. As long as you survive, and your offspring survives, you pretty much have to deal with the crap you are given. As for the kiwi, this evolutionary result may be uncomfortable, but it allows them to hatch chicks that are able to leave the nest really quckly.

Oxidative stress damages cancer cells too, and excessive antioxidants can worsen some cancers. Best to talk to your doctor about what is good for you!

    Antibiotic Resistance

    Antibiotic Resistance

Antibiotic resistance is an increasing problem that we all must do our part to stave off. You must of course use antibiotics whenever it’s necessary, but at the same time, you should work with your doctor to limit the use of antibiotics, and use them correctly whenever they are prescribed. Also, remember that you never need antibiotics to fight viruses! That never works, ever!

But in general women who have long lived with a cat have already been exposed and are immune to this parasite before having children. This needs to be said because most women still think they have to get rid of their cat when they get pregnant.
