Since we’re on the topic of fascinating facts, did you know that McDonald’s once created bubblegum-flavored broccoli? Let that sink in for a few moments.

This was back in 2014 when health advocates compelled the fast-food giant to enhance the nutritional quality of its menu items. The idea was to introduce healthy eating to children through this innovative Happy Meal addition.

However, during focus group discussions, the idea was a flop, and the company was urged to scrap it altogether.

We know the Olympics as a prestigious event where athletes from around the world showcase their skills while representing their respective nations. But from 1912 to 1948, art competitions were part of the events.

People vied for the same bronze, silver, and gold medals across five categories: literature, architecture, painting, music, and sculpture. An international jury determined the winners.

The late Neil Armstrong became a household name for being the first human being to set foot on the moon. But in 2004, he was in the news headlines after barbershop owner Marx Sizemore collected his hair clippings and sold them for a whopping $3,000 to collector John Reznikoff.

Armstrong threatened to sue Sizemore, who refused to give in. Reznikoff, however, donated an additional $3,000 to charity.

Since 2011, the pope has been ineligible to donate his organs. According to Vatican officials, the pope’s body “belongs to the entire church” and must remain intact when buried. Others argue that the recipient may risk becoming an object of veneration, especially when the pope who passed on becomes a saint.

Until 1903, the Vatican in Rome removed the organs of a pope who had recently passed on and turned them into relics for the church.

I guess he was either a stray dog who eat what ver he could find or he belonged to and elderly or mentally ill person who couldn't feed him properly or take him for walks. Some dogs can develop eating disorders if they live in a stressful or a boring environment.

I agree people should not over feed their pets. I do have a story though. My brother adopted an overweight dog from the pound who had been taken in after her owner passed away. The owner was old and couldn't get around well so she left food out all the time and the dog ate herself to obesity. The woman loved her dog but yes did not care for it the best way possible. I don't think she should have been jailed though. If anything she should have had access to help for herself and her pet.

Very impressive. I know the pain and suffering the humans go through when putting an overweight animal on a diet. It's not easy. It gets downright ugly at times, but with fortitude, it works. It's worth the agony having your loved one around for a few more years.

I actually have a similar-ish picture of my horse and his best friend after mine had been kept in his stable for months with laminitis. When I let him back into the field for the first time, with the intention of just giving him 20 minutes out there to start with, he spent the entire time grooming with his bestie and didn't eat a single blade of grass.

The World’s Largest Ancient Mosaic Has Been Discovered In Turkey

The 9,000 square foot mosaic will open this year. It was discovered nine years ago during the construction of a new hotel in Antakya, Turkey.
Archaeologists believe that the mosaic once decorated the floor of a public building in the ancient city of Antioch, one of the most important cities of the Seleucid Empire.
Archaeologists collaborated with architects to preserve this ancient artifact during the construction of the hotel now part-time and museum.
The platform connected to the columns now hovers over the mosaic, and visitors will be able to see this masterpiece from above from special viewpoints.

Me Before And After Losing Weight

Me Before And After Losing Weight

I stopped sharing my life, progress, story back in 2020/2021. Just felt right at the time. Do What Best For You is what I would tell people. I started my WLS at 500lbs, in 2014. I lost 360 pounds in 20 months. Had a few surgeries. Here and there. Enjoyed my ride. I’m growing old from past life choices I once didn’t understand, my future I get to see, at a time it was so dark. I hope someone out there who thinks there in a bad spot sees my progress and it’s helps inspire them, even briefly. Do What’s Best For You.

He is showing the reality of weight loss. People need to see this so they can push though on their journey and not have unrealistic expectations. There are so many fake, photoshopped pictures online. Except if it is a friendly that isn't transmitted internationally, then it reads SVE - DAN and the leftovers are RIGE MARK. I really do not like the translation of country names, I feel especially bad for Deutschland/Allemagne/Germany, they don't even have similarities, and for Nederland that gets called after one province in some languages.

It lies in ruins on the banks of the Niagara River. It's not the only defunct steel factory in the Buffalo/Niagara region. While we all can recognize that progress pushes history forward, sometimes it holds the future back. The Niagara River is so badly polluted there are signs on the banks warning not to eat from the river. The NY side of the falls is a ruinous wreck with piles of trash and old rotting buildings. Niagara falls NY is too dangerous to live it anymore. The Canadian side of the falls is a huge national park kept in pristine condition
