That's something a lot of people don't understand about cancer, is that it can last for YEARS. There are some forms that will carry a person off in a matter of months, but others that can be fought for years as Boseman had to. I've even heard of people battling with hemotological cancers for 15-20 years. And a person with these cancers has to go on with their life the whole time, raising children and earning a living, maybe even having the kind of success he did, while dealing with cancer the whole time. We just never know what other people are going through.

And all the while people talked s**t about his weight loss and appearance and speculated publicly and even talked s**t about being too skinny and sending a bad message to teens n kids.....all because he chose to keep this to himself.. which is 100% his right. The problem is the people who think they're entitled to every aspect of celebrity lives and when they don't get the details they speculate, spread rumors and even shame ppl... and even people who have fucken cancer. This should be a lesson to everyone out there.

What a handsome young man, such a pity he was taken by this dreadful disease. Yeah, I know I'm starting to sound like an old woman.. :D

Dignified to the end, R.I.P Chadwick Boseman.

That's called dignity, strength & commitment.

He was an amazing actor and human. His absence leaves a big hole in all our hearts.

His scene in Ma Raneys black bottom where he yells at god is amazing and just rips your heart out. He was amazing in that film. Truth though he is amazing in all his films.

And I will never be able to forget all the people that mocked and insulted him when he was pictured towards the end of his life, looking thin and frail, because they didn't know he was dying of cancer.

He also lived longer than my friend that had it. Doctor said two years three months. She could not last beyond that. Amazing that Mr. Boseman was so determined and strong to keep fighting.

Wow, I didn't know that. The man is heroic to have done that.

A lot of people have to continue to work while being ill. That story does not impress me.

You forgot to mention she is a professional video editor, which makes a huge difference as a lot of experience and software knowledge is required for this job. From text it sounds like she never edited any film before

That was definitely a gamble. It was very possible that she would have felt even more attached to him after that encounter.

That's better than CGI. It's basically magic...

Priorities

Well, Goetz wasn't charged with war crimes as such, but the Nazi's learned that he stole goods from murdered Jewish people. That wasn't a problem for the nazi's, but the fact that he didn't give the goods to the Reich but kept them in his own posession was a problem. He was charged with theft from the Reich. This was at the end of the war though, and the allied forces took over control shortly after his imprisonment. He was sentenced to death for murdering tens of thousands of people after the war.

Now this is a good detail that I didn't really realized until now.
