Wow! The andromeda galaxy looks so faint and distant unprocessed, but after some grading you realize how close it is our galaxy. And how huge it is! My favorite fact about galaxies is they are so gigantic you see them not only through space but through time. The part of them that's further away is literally hundreds of thousands years behind in time than the parts closer to us.
