Oof this hit me so hard. I have a brother that is 9 YEARS YOUNGER THAN ME. He was allowed to go out when he was 13 BY HIMSELF, while i was 19 AND HAD ALREADY MOVED OUT. No wonder i cut ties with my family.

Man, am I glad my parents let me do whatever in the early 80's. I didn't have a curfew, just had to tell them the name, number and address of the cast party I was going to. Other than that? They knew they really didn't have anything to worry about- I was either on a date- whom they'd met; doing a play/musical/concert or volunteering around town (hospital, YMCA etc.) or doing something for my high school. Most times they weren't sure what I was doing once I got my driver license but I told them all the time. They did worry about me being a die-hard liberal after I was in the Youth Conservation Corps one summer- (and they wouldn't let me go to the nuclear submarine protest with my high school teachers- drats). (Also, still am a liberal- just better informed).

I fractured my left collarbone a few years back and I’m left handed so I had to write eat and speak (I often speak through gestures) through my right hand. It was hell but I do miss the feeling of when my sling was removed at night very fuzzy and also rather jagged I liked it.

what exactly is bad about raisins? i'm convinced that this started because someone complained that they got raisins instead of chocolate chips in a cookie and everyone jumped on it to the point that they now somehow think raisins are bad.
