I Make Super Awkward Flyers And Hang Them In The Streets, Here Are My Best Ones (35 Pics)
Hello, I am Bert Musketon and I am a visual artist based in Belgium. My journey as an artist started 12 years ago. I invested all my time in developing my own style. A style that sets me apart from others. It’s detailed, bold, colorful, and accessible. I’ve been able to work on some great client and personal projects ever since.
One of my passions is to draw awkward stuff and paste it in the streets. I started this Awkward Flyers project during the first COVID lockdown and never stopped!

At age 18, I started drawing stuff on my computer and from that point, it just grew into my full-time job. I never looked back and now, 12 years later, I've had the opportunity to work on some amazing projects for both clients and myself. Awkward Flyer is one of my side projects in which I go back to the essence of why I became an artist in the first place.
I love awkward stuff or situations. But I never knew how to present these situations to others. I'm not a cartoonist and I don't think I'm funny enough to make great cartoons. So I came up with the concept of these weird flyers. I try to communicate an awkward joke in one image. I put in a lot of time and effort, to be honest. Coming up with ideas, printing the flyer, going out, and pasting them on the streets. But, it's super fun!
People spot these flyers when they walk in the streets and they actually rip off the little paper of the flyer and start following the page. Recently, I ran into a person at one conference and he told me he loves all these flyers and stupid jokes.
The reaction from people has been good overall, but sometimes Instagram takes down some of the flyers because they don't comply with their terms and conditions.
For inspiration, I just try to look around in my daily life and try to see what might be an awkward flyer. I take a lot of stuff from my personal life. When I see someone taking cringe selfies at the gym, I might make a flyer of that situation. The best ideas come to you when you least expect them!
The awkward flyer is my side project. My full focus is on Musketon. But I feel like these awkward flyers wouldn't work on that platform.
Okay but I actually need tips on this, too bad this one isn't a real workshop XD
I really need a workshop on this but only if it's very short and is in layman's terms
See above ugly Christmas sweater.....oh and the next one down. The yam man!
Where's the workshop about going to the gym every day to try to convince people that your a**wasn't cosmetically enhanced?
