I Created An Illustrated Story About How A Dog Gets Rescued To Teach Children About Animal Welfare
I am setting up a series of children’s books to teach them about what happens in animal rescue situations (Red Shed Series). The first one I have created is for Christmas, with a little story about how a dog named Rossie gets rescued and his journey to getting re-homed.
I have dedicated the book to all humans who selflessly give their time and their hearts to animal rescue. All proceeds will go to small voluntary shelters. It is a collaboration between me (Sandy Sheerin) and Kiran T. who illustrated it beautifully. I am hoping to bring one out each holiday season (cat rescue for Valentine’s Day, bunny rescue for Easter, baby foal for Mother’s Day, etc.).
Below are some illustrated samples of the book, which I absolutely think Kiran did an amazing job on. The full book is available for purchase on Kindle or our website.

Share on FacebookWell, that's one way to market a book. On the positive side, I'm so excited to see someone devoting themselves to educating children about animal rescue. A very good concept.
I wholeheartedly approve. I've been involved in Rescue for more than ten years. Animals are saved and you come out a better person.
Aww the illustrations are adorable! Thats so lovely its to raise money for animal rescues 🥰
