Halloween is celebrated differently in various parts of the world. In Lithuania, the Lithuanians mark the period of “Ilgės”. The Lithuanians believe that during this period, spirits of our ancestors and close ones are able to come back to our world. The time when the spirits are active actually lasts for 6 months. 6 months of active spirits, can you imagine? ? :)

From ancient times, traditions like leaving dishes after dinner for the dead to feast, or heating up saunas for the dead are still practiced.

This new video celebrates the time when the dead can be reached.
