Never intentionally mess with someones food.

"She still doesn't know" Oh I guarantee she knew the moment her stomach reacted and she had to spend hours on the toilet in agonizing pain and/or throwing up. A digestive system that is not used to meat will not react kindly to it, tricking someone like this can make them really sick!

This makes me feel nauseated. I don't mind so much if something is vegetarian but not entirely vegan - I will eat these things to be polite in social settings sometimes. Nowadays I don't have to because people will go out of their way to accommodate me, without me asking. But this would make me feel so violated. I remember years ago (when I was vegetarian, not vegan) I accidentally started eating a ham and cheese croissant. Sprinted to the bathroom to spit it out, felt sick the whole day.

A girl in my class once gave me “real Biriyani” which had chicken in it. I fell a bit sick for the next few days. People who do these things are just horrible

Her dad is a pos. Some people don’t eat for medical reasons and others just because they don’t want to. What an arsehole.

Keep in mind, not all vegans are pacifist. I'd personally knock his teeth out.

A classmate of mine made his Muslim friend eat pork by lying to him and then told him. He found very funny that the poor guy had to run to wash himself.

I have food allergies, so my friends know to not "jokingly" put those items in something I'm gonna eat. Years ago I was with some folks who were bothered by the fact that we had to move the coconut shrimp downwind of my food that I brought. Yeah, I don't associate with those people anymore

I might not be a vegan myself, but this is absolutely screwed up. That dad is an absolute psycho who needs his head checked.

Just start respecting people's food choices. Animal proteins aren't that healthy anyhow. The liver cirrhosis hates it. Plant based protein is far better & more affordable. I eat soy beans everyday. Once in awhile as a treat I'll have a hamburger but it's not a lifestyle choice it's just for "fun."

I'm guessing that if she had a serious peanut allergy he would have given your peanuts in some form.

I told ex bf's parents I don't eat fish. So they thought they would hide some in my food. I thought it was odd they giggled when I ate it and said it was nice. Luckily, I don't have anaphylaxis type allergy - but I'm not at all sorry my allergic response was to projectile vomit all over the dad. They were shocked I wouldn't apologise.

Why people think this stuff is funny is beyond me. It's also more than likely not true as if you don't eat red meat for a while and then go back to it, it makes you very ill. My dad did similar (didn't go vegan but stopped eating red meat)

I hate vegans, not all of them, only those who try to enforce their diet to others. They seem nice people now, compared to her dad.
