The internet is full of detectives, from websleuths that work on real-life crimes and missing person cases, to redditors that explain some of the weirdest finds that people come across. It’s no wonder that people invest their time and energy into the strangest tasks online, like figuring out which day American rapper Ice Cube was talking about in his hit single “It Was a Good Day”. Many theories from Donovan Strain to random bloggers online sprouted up, speculating the exact date. “It’s basically my interpretation of what a great day would be. Do you know what I’m saying? So, you know, it’s a little of this and a little of that. I don’t think you can pinpoint the day.” the rapper clarified. Even though Ice Cube himself said that the day is completely fictional and he wasn’t singing about a particular time in his life, the arguments that people presented were pretty amazing!
