I Use Natural Sheep’s Wool To Felt 3D Animal Portraits And I Love Every Model I’ve Created (26 Pics)
Hello friends. My name is Hanna Tsukanova. In my small workshop RUNO ART, I create felted 3d portraits of animals. I use only natural sheep's wool and work by the method of dry felting. For each portrait, I spend 10 or more hours of work. My eyes get tired and my fingers are pinched by a needle. But I really love this job! And I really love every model!
I am often asked how I do it. I answer honestly that only with the help of God. Because I never went to art school and do not know how to draw at all.
I really appreciate your support and your opinion about my work. Please check out my other post on Bored Panda by clicking here.

Since Russia started a war in Ukraine, I am trying to help an amazing Ukrainian girl, Olesya from Zaporizhzhia. She is a volunteer that did not run away despite constant shelling and bomb attacks. She stayed with her animals and continues to save them.
I decided to collect money for her flock by making and selling my works. Olesya has over 200 domestic and wild animals in her care. I have already managed to raise about $1000 for Olesya.
This money seems to be enough. The problem is no longer with money, but with the things that she needs to buy - there are problems with the availability of medicines for animals and their delivery to her city, which is under fire from the Russian army.
I did not know Olesya before the start of the war, but now I will not leave her even when peace comes.
If you're thinking of acquiring one or more of the woolen animals, check out my Etsy store. I transfer all the money from sales to support Ukrainian defenders!
