My name is Haleli Jabotinsky, also known as Leli_j. I am an Israeli digital artist based in Tel Aviv.
As someone who has always loved the arts and has always been a nature enthusiast, I looked for a way to combine both. 6 years ago, I found it, and I started to create illustrations using natural materials only.
My creations reflect the inspiration I find in nature: I use dried and fresh flowers to create my illustrations and capture the many ways in which beauty can come about while also exploring how we can recycle elements found in nature.
Each piece is one-time magic happening, usually without me planning it; I simply look at the materials in front of me and let my imagination run free with the natural forms of the petals and leaves.
Upon completing the piece, I take it apart, leaving behind nothing more than a photo and/or video. I make a point out of re-using the materials over and over again.
Once the creation is done, I post it to my Instagram account, which you are more than welcome to follow.

I love creating homages to artist who inspire me, such as Frida Kahlo.
This piece is my homage to "The Kiss" by Gustav Klimt and is one my favorite creations I have made. I used over 100 flower petals to make this piece.
This one is yet another homage, this time to Koketit (Shira Barzilay), an amazing Israeli artist.
