Since 2020 probably feels like you just stepped on a lego (repeatedly)…I wanted to try and turn that around for you using the science of happiness. This year has been rough and everyone deserves a little pick me up.

Science is often just a lot of plain text with pages of endless statistics and numbers (even the science of happiness). I’m pretty sure most people don’t read these papers unless they study or work in the field.

Since I have a love for art and science, I wanted to combine my two interests. I take the science and mix it with colorful, minimalist illustrations so everyone can benefit from the science and feel a little better.

The first step is digitally drawing the outlines.

Next, I painted all the watercolours by hand.

Then I scanned my paintings so I could digitally colour in the outlines.
