I Turned My Dog’s Food-Stealing Skills Into Art

My 5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback Kaya is a professional at stealing food. It all started when she was a puppy and we caught her during a friend’s party attempting to eat a burrito that was still in the mouth of the person eating it.

She quickly earned the nickname “scarf” for her ability to steal food when we aren’t watching (Ridgebacks are sort of known for having bottomless stomachs), or at the very least when we are watching, to reach her giraffe like tongue out and lick whatever is within range.

As a food photographer, Kaya has successfully stuck her snout in many of my staged food shots resulting in some hilarious photobombs. So I decided to turn the camera on her and make art out of her skill, this time using foods that are safe for dogs to eat. Enjoy!

very nice photos! It should remind everyone that some things are extremely poisonous for dogs, but they still like to steal it, such as chocolate but there are many more (like grapes or onions) always keep dangerous food away from them!

Yes exactly Laure! But that there are several "human" foods that in moderation can be great to share with your pups!
