I Turn Starbucks Cups Into Art

I am a 19-year-old artist from Ohio and I like to draw on pretty much anything; my specialty, Starbucks cups. I got my inspiration from an artist by the name of Kristina Webb who drew on a cup and then I decided to try it out myself. To say the least, it turned out to be one of my favorite things to do and now I have a little collection growing.

I started posting my cup art to my Instagram and they BLEW UP! My most popular cup art, being my blue cup, now has over 12,700 likes which blew my mind. So, here I am now, sharing them with you!

All of my cup designs are created with sharpies, a white gel pen and copic markers to fill in solid areas or to add a gradient. These cups are great for holding pens and pencils and definitely add a pop of color and creativity into my bedroom.
Feel free to check out all of my creations on my Instagram, if you’d like!

brilliant - if Starbucks had any sense they would commission you to design some cups for them to print. Or maybe even start a campaign for 'Cup Art' to display the best ones in their stores.

I love these art pieces. They look amazing. I have an idea to that, your cup art on the plastic/clear starbucks cup could have LED lights inserted and attached to keep their prettiness at night. kiki emoticon I don't know if it is viable, but it won't hurt to try and see, right? ^_^

What a great job! It's not easy to paint / draw onto 3D objects. Well done, they're beautiful.

If it makes you feel better, I don't like coffee at all. My mom always brings me home a cup to decorate when she gets Starbucks ^_^

This is the coolest thing ever... you made some gorgeous designs from a relatively boring cup. I don't have instagram, but I really enjoyed your cups. I'd love to see some of your freestyle work. I like your style and design, and I'm thinking you could have some amazing work.

Girl, you should really show it to Starbucks itself! These designs are absolutely stunning and beautiful. I bet that they'd do special edition of those cups with your name on it.

They have seen my work, but have shown no interest in using any of my designs. Typically they do white cup contests which I have entered; however, they don't like gradients on their cups and the logo cannot be tinkered with at all.

This is very accomplished work so that is all you get for your 20th birthday. I don't think you need anybody to give you anything. You can do it yourself. Truly remarkable.

Have you approached Starbucks about designing a cup or two for them? I have a couple of their designer travel mugs and would definitely purchase one of any of your designs. They're absolutely beautiful! Love them!

Really lovely. Have you asked Starbucks if they want to buy your designs from you? It's good advertisement for them and they might turn into collector items. I'm sure you could make some good money behind this.
