while I was reading the camping wirh grandpa one I heard a loud BANG! on the window next to me. So I natrually I ignore it, thinking maybe it's the wind. But after finishing the story I got paranoid and got scared the f**k up

I was 13 so at an age that I wasn’t easily scared. One night for no reason I had heard this sound downstairs after everyone was long asleep. Just weird sound... I didn’t know what it was. I walked out of my room to make sure that my parents were asleep- they were. As I was walking back to my room I finally figured out what the noise was- knives sharpening. I was so freaked out I ran back to my room and hid under the covers like a four year old. Then the door suddenly burst open for no reason. I didn’t see it I just heard it. Stayed like that all night and never figured out what it was.
