I am a HUGE Halloween enthusiast and long-time Walking Dead fan. Two years ago I had my first Halloween Mini Session and one client had her children come as zombies and the rest is history.
I know MY zombies aren't necessarily a classic zombie, but if zombies were to exist - who's to say HOW they would look shortly after being turned? I love the glowing eyes that I do because it adds a "beautiful allure" factor to something potentially very deadly. I use a make-up artist for every "zombie" to do a base undead makeup and then I edit the snot out of each image individually. Each one of these images takes anywhere from 15-30 minutes to hand edit depending on the make-up and what I want to achieve.
This type of photography may be considered a bit taboo by many people, but for those who enjoy a little bit of darkness in their lives - this is awesome, one of a kind experience.

It was really there, it's the Cement Ship in Aptos, CA. Truth be told I absolutely hate doing background replacements. LoL! I will be posting a before editing and after editing comparison of this image on my Facebook and IG next Saturday if you are curious. ;)
Load More Replies...Great use of photo shop. The lightening of the skin, use of brushes and brightening of the eyes enhances them just right to create the ghoulish feel and look.
Thank you! I love me some photoshop!
Load More Replies...Awesome!!! Hope you don't mind I saved some for my wallpaper. 😎
They definitely does. I am sure they had a great time while shooting.
Thanks!!! I think kids increase the creepy factor. Lol
Load More Replies...Yeah, great idea, overall but not on to put a kid's bleeding face as a call-card. I got severely triggered for childhood abuse there, for those couple of seconds it took me to stop shaking and actually read the damn writing underneath. I'm sorry to spoil this, cause it's a great idea, as I said before, but.
I do try to get some kind of emotional response out of my audience, but I assure you that I had no intentions of this image triggering that type of response. I only viewed this image from the innocence perspective, like if you seen him you would want to help him and unknowingly become lunch. This is my first time posting to BoredPanda so I'm still not sure how that image out of all of them became the cover image - it wasn't the first image uploaded so I'm baffled. I'm still awaiting a response back from Panda if I can remove it or at least change the intro image. It's a bummer that it has such a negative effect because I do love the background and his eyes :(
