Sunrises and sunsets are a must to see there, climbing the beautiful temples barefoot also. I photographed the most amazing places and captured the beauty of life there.

what's the purpose of those powder like on their face? I've seen it all the time.

Well...it is a partly a cultural thing there but also this yellowish paint (called thanaka) suppose to protect from the sunburn, but they do many different designs which is truly fascinating.

Wow, did you shoot with a Kodak Portra film ? The colours look amazing, I almost can't believe that such pastel colours can come out of a digital camera... Lovely photos!

Thank you so much! I love the Kodak films and I am trying quite hard to find the same settings for digital pictures, so I am really glad you noticed. :) But yes, these are digital photographs.
