I Travelled All Over Portugal To Photograph Windows, And Captured More Than 3200 Of Them
You may remember my project Windows of the World which was published two years ago here on Bored Panda, at the time with only a small number of collections. Now it has grown to more than 100 beautiful collages!
Gaze into the tiled windows of Lisbon and see the white facades of Alentejo. In the Azores, Sao Miguel’s windows incorporate local volcanic rock into their design - closing the gap between nature and civilization even more.
I want to share with you my first book, where I compiled the windows from 100 Portuguese locations with an overall of 3200 total windows! If you are planning a trip to Portugal, you can see which are the most beautiful cities to visit or what kind of architecture you like the most.
In this post there are some never seen before collections, just for you! So much diversity! What is your favourite? Let's find the winner!

Nor orange, yellow. It's tradition of Alentejo's buildings, simbol both of the sun and the fields of wheat, typical of the region. Apart from yellow, blue is also much used in other cities and towns.

Load More Replies...Lovely! Loved the symmetry and it's as if all the photographs were taken af the same time of the day.
Thanks! The reason that they look if were taken af the same time of the day is what keeps my work very consistent, and what makes it so long to photograph a city. You can check all the other cities in the book.
Load More Replies...Is well worth the visit!
