In the month of July this year 2016, I went to Ladakh, Kashmir to enjoy the beautiful landscapes out there. I was super excited during my visit. My initial plan was to capture the natural beauties, mountains and lakes. But at the same time I was amazed by the Ladakhi people. They are calm, quite, beautiful people. They never complain or hesitate to give pose in front of the camera.

I captured over 100 photos of them and here are 35 photos which are very close to me. One of the photos (First one in the list) has won Honorable Mention award form International Photography Awards 2016 in Honorable Mention category.

I have used my Nikon D5300 camera with 18-55mm and 55-200mm lens for this.

“Julley, People of Ladakh” this is the name I have given to this gallery. “Julley” means “Hello”, “Goodbuy”, “Thank You” and you can use to greet the Ladakhi people in Kashmir.
