I Travelled To Austria To Photograph The Most Beautiful Road In The Alps, Grossglockner High Alpine Road

Grossglockner High Alpine Road is the most beautiful road I saw in the Alps. I have been taking pictures there since 2008. Every time it looks different and I’m surprised with its beauty.

The road is open from May till October and every year thousands of tourists go there. Driving through it is a great adventure. We can see amazing nature and wonderful mountains. Just have a look at some of my pictures to fall in love with this place.

you should definitely visit the Transfagarasan highway in Romania. And while there, pay the good old Dracula Castle a visit aswell.

Great work! I showed these to my dad who worked up there in 1964, he said it still looks just as "hair-raising" as it did back then.
