I Take Photos Showcasing The Beautiful Mountain Scenery In My Home Country
Hi! My name is Catalina and I’m an amateur photographer based in Bucharest, Romania. I love to travel and capture the beauty I see around the world, but there’s always something special about the views back home. There’s plenty of scenery variety for everyone, but my personal favorites have always been the mountains.
So without further ado, here are a few reasons why you should come hiking in Romania…

The endless views
The treat of spotting wildlife
The spectacular hidden gems
Waking up in the morning to a view like this
Seeing sky above and sky below
Taking a chilly swim to get your blood pumping
The endless snowy slopes
The intricate rock formations
The bits of history scattered everywhere
And simply taking a peaceful moment, hearing nothing but the crickets and the alpine breeze around you

Load More Replies...Thank you so much! Part of the mountain views, the arch-like rock formation and the two lakes are from the Fagaras Mountains (the highest in the country), the remaining mountain views are from the Bucegi Mountains (closest to the capital, so most frequently hiked), the frozen waterfall is called Bigar and it's in the Caras-Severin county, in the south-west, close to the border, and the fortress near the end is called Enisala, and it's in Tulcea county, south-east, close to the Black Sea coast and the Danubian Delta. Thanks for viewing, I hope this made you want to come visit some day! :)
