Three hours of walking were enough to see some of the first multiple faces coming in the winter. Fog, air and half a meter of snow, elements of adventure and enjoyment for me. My course started from the village of Chania and I reached the ski center. Easy way up to a point, . The wind whistled on the frozen branches, waking me up old memories. The clouds were running to hide the sun to make the big night obscur even faster. Frozen flames in the woods from the sun were animating the legends of 1000 suns.
People caressed playing as little children but I continued my journey alone in the warmth of my equipment. I continued to fill up with another experience of magical nature. There were moments that were odd. Landscapes looked like from distant and polar places , or from the frozen surfaces of Europa in the skirts of Jupiter , landscapes full of naked wild Populus alba trees wearing only the white veil of winter and touching the clouds with their long branches. Landscapes full of splendor and above all dignity, just as nature only fits.
Look at them, but above all live them because the snow is the most fragile element of the winter. It is constantly changing, melting, freezing, transported, golden in a few minutes. Tomorrow it will not be like that thats why is unique. Every moment of snow is different, so come to the frozen Mt Pelion to experience something different than the other mountains.
