Before you ask, no, I’m not a replicant. But, Seoul really does look like a Blade Runner movie set.
Here’s a little bit about me, I’m from a small village in England, which last I checked struggled to get 3G mobile data in some parts. So when I moved to Seoul I literally felt like I had travelled in time. You could be drawn to the glitzy areas of Gangnam, Apgujeong and Myeongdong, but Seoul has a whole lot more.
Scratch away at the surface and you will find yourself in another world. Cramped alleys, an abundance of cables hanging overhead and the streets basked in a neon glow.
Honestly, it’s beautiful, and sparks creativity in a moment. Check out some of the pictures below, and if you do happen to spot a replicant, let me know!

Share on FacebookI worked in Seoul in 1989 for Warner Bros Television Animation and found so many neighborhoods that would have made outrageous locations. Completely agree...especially if you've been to any of the Soju tents at night.
