One day while walking through a store that sells home decor I saw that they were selling large retro prints of old, great commercial posters by Mucha, the inventor of Art Nouveau, a style that changed the world and one of my favorite artists. I had seen great old commercial advertising prints many times in different peoples houses, commercial posters by great artists and print-makers from Picasso to Andy Warhol and while I love the posters I think that conceptually they needed a new spin to make them feel new, something to talk about.

I really appreciated that it afforded people a way to have great art in their homes but felt that they would be even more interesting, unique and desirable if they were edgier and contemporary.

These sleek, clever parody posters are intended to provide popular attainable decoration with a high art edge.
