I like old things. They have many advantages over nowadays devices. Sometimes I buy/get almost destroyed thing and try to get it back to life. This time I ordered the Bread Cutter which was so rusty that my son said ‘Dad, You should send it back or put it in the trash’ ;-)
This is how it looks – rusty, dirty and not working at all
oh… and it smells awfull!
The wooden parts were in pretty bad shape
I had to disasemble the device and clean. As I said before-it smells terrible.
Part of cleanning process. It was so dirty, that it looks like black
After every piece was cleaned or remade by me, I put it all back toghether
Finall effect 1
Finall effect 2
And the video from the whole process
Ahhh, I was rewarded at the end of the video with seeing it in action. Was afraid I wasn't going to get that. (Might be good to put that as gif for the less patient?) Impressive restoration, and I was equally impressed with the stop motion bits in the video. It would make prepping food so romantic! Well done!
never seen the great thing like this before... i really love the video!
Awesome work... loved the stop motion video part!!! I am also a DIY youtuber (Just started) :)
