I Personalize, Re-Sculpt And Recycle Pre-Loved Dolls Into Famous People

These are all customized Barbie, Monster High, and Bratz dolls, saving them all from the landfill. A lot of these dolls are famous people who I have followed all my life since the ’80s and still love now.

I adore creating and tell stories with my personalized dolls. They are little imitations of life. They can reflect what kinds of styles we enjoy, what kinds of moods we feel, they are a 3D embodiment of ourselves and with a little imagination, we can turn a plain old factory doll into a magical, unique, and realistic artwork.

Pete Burns resemblance doll

This repainted doll resembles Pete Burns from around the time he first produced his famous pop song “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)” by Dead or Alive, from the album “Youthquake” in 1985.

I had to make him as he was before he started his journey with surgeries. Then I had to pay tribute to all the troubles he had to get the face he truly wanted, so I decided to make this realistic doll a mask, sculpted and painted to look like Pete before he passed in 2016.

Before complete re-painting and restyling it was Jackson Jekyl, a Monster High doll

The jawline will be sanded, then repainted using watercolor pencils, pastels and acrylic paint then sealed with matte, UV grade non-toxic varnish spray.

These dolls are really cool I love how they have personalized clothing as well. Have to say also that the Kirsten Stewart Bella doll had more emotion in her face and eyes than the actor herself LOL
