Hi, I’m Mark Wheatley, an award-winning painter, illustrator, and comicbook artist. I’ve worked on various projects and in various media ranging from comics to fine art to television and film concepts. My current project is Doctor Cthulittle, a whimsical Lovecraftian adventure that I am illustrating alongside writer G. D. Falksen. Doctor Cthulittle is the story of the eponymous Doctor, who travels through the cosmos communing with the Elder Gods and stopping them from devouring the cosmos. The book is fully illustrated in the style of classical novels and pulp serials, an incredible style that we hope to help bring back.

His work has often been included in the annual Spectrum selection of fantastic art and has appeared in private gallery shows, The Norman Rockwell Museum, Toledo Museum of Art, Huntington Art Museum, Fitchburg Art Museum, James A. His interpretations of established characters such as Tarzan, Dick Tracy, The Green Hornet, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Jonny Quest, Dr. Strange, The Flash, Captain Action, Argus, The Spider, Stargate Atlantis, the Three Stooges, Doctor Who and Torchwood have brought them to life for a new generation of readers. He has written for TV, illustrated books, designed cutting-edge role-playing games, hosted the weekly radio program Frequency, and was an early innovator of the on-line daily comic strip form.

G. D. Falksen

An author, lecturer, public speaker, and actor. He also studies history and has consulted for Disney. He is the author of The Ouroboros Cycle series, The Transatlantic Conspiracy, and several other works of fiction. He is a voice actor for and co-writer of the animated film Hullabaloo and an accompanying educational series titled Ask The Professor.
