I Paint Lovecraftian Horror In Hopes To Keep The Illustrated Novel Alive.

Hi, I’m Mark Wheatley, an award-winning painter, illustrator, and comicbook artist. I’ve worked on various projects and in various media ranging from comics to fine art to television and film concepts. My current project is Doctor Cthulittle, a whimsical Lovecraftian adventure that I am illustrating alongside writer G. D. Falksen. Doctor Cthulittle is the story of the eponymous Doctor, who travels through the cosmos communing with the Elder Gods and stopping them from devouring the cosmos. The book is fully illustrated in the style of classical novels and pulp serials, an incredible style that we hope to help bring back.

Doctor Cthulittle is a whimsical and terrifying illustrated story filled with Lovecraftian horrors, cosmic wonders, and adventure beyond space and time.

Join the mad Doctor Cthulittle and his stalwart companions as they race to save the universe from the unending hunger of an eldritch horror as it stirs from its aeons-long slumber. The good Doctor sacrificed his sanity to learn the secrets of the elder gods, but will his knowledge be enough to preserve the cosmos?
