I am an illustrator who loves geometry and structure. I like to extract the shapes in an image and am obsessed with composition and colour balance.
I started creating these city illustrations out of tourist photographs and maps. I enjoy working out how all the pieces can fit together in one picture and be representative of the city and its culture and history. Once I have a line drawing I choose the colours based on the city’s story.
It takes hours of Research, Drawing, Photoshop work and Colouring. The final pieces are hand drawn using Faber Castell Pitt Pens on smooth Bristol Paper.
