I ‘m Helen, a stained glass artist from the UK. I started using old drums and guitars to frame my stained glass pictures 8 years ago.

From a life of music and gigging, the old instruments get a new lease of creative life when I turn them into lamps.

I used black and white stained glass for a striking effect on this anonymous lamp. From an old chrome snare drum and drum fittings I mounted it on a solid walnut base.

I am a fulltime UK based glass artist creating a modern and funky twist to traditional techniques of stained glass and shipping globally. Many of my lamps are music themed by request of my customers but I design to any theme, even from my customers photographs, favourite motorbikes and cars, to logos and corporate artwork. I never repeat designs so each piece I create is totally bespoke to my customers, who are all over the world!
