I am Nupur Dasgupta, a Nottingham-based artist. When I was a little girl, one of my favorite Disney movies was The Little Mermaid. Of course, being a little girl, I automatically believed that Ariel and her “mer-world” were a real phenomenon. I dream of living in a simple little house by a lake in the deep forest!
So I created this artwork. A lake surrounded by forest-inspired Wall art with preserved moss and resin.
When I was a little girl, I was obsessed with Disney movies. I loved the idea of the princess and her prince charming, Fairies, Fantasy, Magic, wicked witch, true love kiss, and living happily ever after. I couldn’t wait to grow up and feel the magic of true love! Besides that, I have a little obsession with crafting miniatures and arts. Most of my artworks are fantasy and fairyland-themed!

In the spring birds collect all sorts of materials for lining their nests, and moss is an especially good one because of its thickness, springiness, and availability. Please don’t collect until after you start seeing young birds about.

Don’t worry, these moss are preserved. I bought these moss from a reputed moss supplier. They are harvested and naturally preserved for artwork only.
