I Gave Up Canvas, Now I Paint On Rubik’s Cubes.

This is my way of blending my two obsessions, art and puzzles. It adds a whole new element to the composition and design process, because I am also striving to create unique puzzling challenges.

Each puzzle can take between ten to twenty hours to complete. Sometimes I reshape pieces, sometimes I make new pieces, sometimes I attach pieces together to change how the puzzle functions.

The painting process was a huge adjustment. When I painted on canvas I believed in big brushes and big brush-strokes. Now I only use the tiny brushes I never used to touch!
