One of my favorite things is to take walks in the nature, explore and take photos. One of the most impressive spots I’ve found is this well-hidden place with a few big and strange rock formations that look like they have faces on them.
The place is 20km from Grevena city, Greece. A place that even locals don’t know about. Was just looking for mushrooms to collect and photograph, when I heard sheep over the nearby hill. Decided to climb it to see. And then saw the rocks from a distance.
Getting close was a bit difficult because a few edgy dogs were guarding the sheep and the rocks, but finally made it close enough to take a few photos.
I suppose that those rocks were shaped by water initially and by the air and weather afterwards. It is known that the whole place was under the waters of Tethys ancient ocean many million years ago!
