Why we do what we do?

Ever thought why people bring plants at home or search for things of natural materials like wood? Maybe it is because of nature longing and trying to create a similar feeling of being in forest or fields. These thoughts inspiring me to make objects which create ethereal feels. I am trying to simulate a sun-kissed forest, where warm sunlight streaming through swaying branches. It creates magical dances of contrasting lights and shades – this is my inspiration – place where we are charmed and relaxed. I wish to bring these feelings in everyone’s home.

The new line of SKURAdesign coconut lamps patterns are based on animals and plants shapes which contain forest life vibes. The main part of these lamps is coconut shell, which is natural with its form, smell and structure. With help of thousand holes drilled by hand, I create ornamented interpretations of plants and animals dances in sunny day forest.
