My name is Idan lightman, I live and create in tel Aviv Israel, I was always fascinated with fine details in art and nature, for the last 8 years I’m living In one of the largest cities in Israel and as I observe it I find an amazing array of details within this city from so many cultures and decades, colors, textures, different lives and life forms.

For a daydreamer like me, sometimes the city seems like its own entity

Made of all these individuals including myself.

While I get lost in it I remember old fears, dreams, daydreams and living ghosts of future memories.

I collect them as words and photographs and interpret them through my painting process

That for this series contains fine yet obsessive pen strokes and puddles of ink.
