I Had A Beauty And The Beast Wedding Inspiration Photo Shoot!
I always dreamed of a princess wedding, and I got one! It was magical, but my dress was white, and I always wondered what it would be like if I dyed it yellow. When I heard Disney was making a Beauty and the Beast live action movie I threw an awesome team of wedding professionals together, googled how to dip dye a wedding dress, and got to work. I searched antique malls for the candelabrum, clock, and mirror. Stacy and Tiffany found all the other items all over the place (designing incredible weddings is kinda their thing). They know how to make Disney dreams and modern trends turn into magic! Alicia and I went to school together as kids, and had just reconnected when we discovered we both worked weddings. Alicia created all the incredible florals for the shoot. Perla is an artist when it comes to baking. We’ve worked together before, and I couldn’t think of anyone I would rather have create the perfect belle cake. She did fantastic, and she even made the team cupcakes! Adriana and I have also worked together before. She’s an artist when it comes to anything paper. She made up this seating chart out of BOOKS! What’s more Beauty and the Beast than books?! Domenica came up with the perfect modern twist on Belle’s hair and makeup, and her sister Nicolina just so happens to be an artist when it comes to designing custom jewelry from the Keep Collective line. Sandee and I have kids who go to the same school. Sandee makes all kinds of customized things. She even makes these starbucks cups that say “might not be coffee” where the old logo used to say “starbucks coffee.” She created the wooden signs. Then there’s Cristina who totally believed in us and hosted our shoot at the Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook, CA. Of course none of this would have happened with out our incredible young models: Fabian and KaitLynn. They played their parts PERFECTLY! All in all, we are a team of Disney loving, pixie dust sprinkling, wedding magic making, kids in grown-up bodies just dying to create all kinds of Disney inspired dream weddings… And it all started with a dress and a little girl who couldn’t stop singing (very off key) to her disney sing-a-long cassette tapes.
