I found an amazing illustrated poster about Palestine made by Franz Kraus, “Visit Palestine” from 1936, and I tough myself : why not do some other ones, same style, but with some "actual and accurate" subjects : pollution, migration, war, etc.
Here is the result but the project is still on going. Wich city will be next?

The orang-outan should be shown burning because that's what happens, they are burned alive, you can see them run out of the forest with their fur on fire, sometimes holding their little one also burning alive.
Visit Faroe
Seriously people they kill to eat the meat rubbish they hid behind the tradition card. This is nothing more than brutal murder and torture of innocent family pods swimming innocently by. Anyone who has witnessed the footage of the pilot whale killings and are not sickened by what they have seen are as sick as they are Children playing with unborn foetuses, calves fully formed thrown into garbage bins this is nothing more than criminal Children watching and taking part this is surely child abuse we protect our children from the horrors of the world not involve them The supermarkets are full they are not short of alternate food whT happens if there Re no grinds do they not eat Leave the whales alone they do not belong to the Faroes????

I like the poster style! Some of the messages are unpleasant for sure, but simplying showing the things that are a part of that country that aren't necessarily advertised.

Visit Phuket
This is not accurate - there should be about 2000 tourists on that beach. And don't forget the petrol fumes...

I know how this shows some of the reallity of these places but isn't it kinda hypocryte to point out only the bad reality of underdeveloped countrys but not of your own like Belgium, USA and others like if they were perfect?
I think you're looking at this all wrong. It's not about who's "perfect" and who's "bad" - it's not a contest for a prize of the worst/best place to live. Try not to look at this with "Well, other places have some bad things about them too!" attitude, but rather "Darn, we should try to prevent those awful things happening".
Load More Replies...hey guys, .. be logical, no drama.. nothing wrong with the posters.. all places have these kinds of problems. the artist just emphasize them. we, no matter where we were born in the countries affected or not, just need to accept the problems and do something to make these posters untrue in the near future. stop blaming but start "developing"!
Such cool postcards! finally something authentic, I would like to print them :D
I think it's the plastic tray you can find when buying some beer cans. The kind from Happy Feet.
Load More Replies...These are good, but it is missing the one with the 19 year old 'digital nomad' living in Bali off his parents credit card claiming to be a life coach.
Any idea why these all-over-the-world problems were deliberately shown associated with these few handpicked places?
Because why should they have 800,000 cities in one article just because you are offended that people litter?
Load More Replies...You have created very telling posters. I especially like Borneo and Faroe Islands. I need to say however, that you need to get the real "Palestine" story. There are thousands of "Palestinians" living peacefully in Israel. They work and practically run the Old City of Jerusalem. No one bothers them, and they don't bomb people. The people of Gaza put themselves there. The men never do a minutes work. They sit in the street smoking hash and drinking coffee. The women do all the work. They depend on Hamas for food and clothes, in return when their children reach the age of 5 they give them to Hamas to be trained as suicide bombers. At 5 years old they learn to shoot an automatic. I travelled the whole region for over 4 years as a 'travelling hippy' type. I was with an American boy who was murdered in Gaza just for being Infidel. I was attacked in Lebanon for wearing a T shirt on a burning hot day. Be careful whose side you choose on the issue of Syrian so called refugees.
It's not meant to uplift you but to show the reality of our world.
