When a roller skate company asked me to photograph their skates, I asked them what kind of shoot they wanted.

They said, "Do your thing". That's the best thing an artist can hear. So my inner child took the wheel and I planned out an 80s roller skating shoot to bring my childhood to life.

As an eighties baby, I rocked Jams, Jelly Shoes, and Neon Biker shorts. I was totally rad. 100% tubular. No doy!

So I went back to a little graffiti alley where I went when I was younger, pulled out the boom box and the neon gear, and photographed a set that makes me feel like a kid again. How about you? Skates are by Bont Quad Skates.
