Shawnee Chasser,65 From the outskirts of Miami has a tremendous love for her tree house. She starts living in this tree house 25 years ago. She sells popcorn bags to generate Income for her living. But her living in the treehouse isn’t safe according to the Miami-Dade County who says that she has to come down now. Chasser spent last five years fighting with Miami-Dade County to save her Wooden Cottage.
The Officials From The Miami-Dade County told her in late August that most of the part of her tree house is Unsafe and it needs to demolish within 120 days. While Chasser doesn’t go quietly, She decided not to go at all she said in an Interview. “whether I’m going to chain myself to the treehouse or do it like they want me to do it.”
According to a Spokesperson from Miami-Dade County, This Order was Issues Just to make sure the surrounding area safe. “Substandard construction and improperly running electricity and plumbing on a property present a hazard not just to those on the property, but also to neighbors.”
According To Chasser if she starts spending on the proper functionalities of the tree house it would cost her around $1,00,000 and she had also paid $10,00 Out of $30,000 as per fined by Miami-Dade County.
When Miami Herald Wrote about her defending her Treehouse, a Petitions and a GoFundMe Account were brought into play, which is operated by her 40-year-old daughter, Wren.
Though I Really Don’t Know If It Is To Be Promoted Or Not But I Feel Sorry For This Lady Who Give Her Life To This Tree House. She Spend So Many Year There and We really don’t know how much fellings and stories are attached to this tree house. So Promoting.
